Real Betis are interested in signing David Silva when he leaves Manchester City this summer, but there have not been any negotiations with him yet.
The Spanish midfielder is set to bring an end to his time at the Etihad in the summer when his contract comes to an end.
He has interest from numerous clubs, with it mooted that he could make a return to Spanish football ten years after leaving it for Manchester City.
One of the clubs who have been linked with making a move are Real Betis, and it has even been suggested that negotiations are already underway between the club and the 34-year-old.
They report that sources close to the club have ‘denied’ that there are currently any ‘open negotiations’ between the club and the player at this point.
In fact, a far more likely destination is Valencia, who have already offered Silva, who made 169 appearances for the club before leaving for Manchester City 2010, a three-year contract to join them this summer.
