AC Milan are working to bring Manchester United fullback Diogo Dalot back to the club this summer.
The Red Devils allowed the 22-year-old to spend last season on loan at the San Siro, and even though he made only 10 league starts and 10 more in other competitions, the Serie A side have plans to sign him again, as a backup for Davide Calabria.
On June 16th, TuttoMercatWeb reported the 22-year-old has ‘decided’ he wants to continue with Stefano Pioli’s side.
In their efforts to strengthen the squad for next season, the Rossoneri are working on several fronts.
Among them is the need to secure the services of the Portuguese defender, according to Milan Live, and they can only land Dalot with the help of the Red Devils.
Without a ‘green light’ from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, Milan could dump the idea of signing the former FC Porto man and shift their attention elsewhere.
Real Madrid’s Álvaro Odriozola is identified as another right-back target and Milan have already started contacts with the Spaniard’s entourage.
