With Badou Ndiaye’s loan spell at Galatasaray coming to an end the Super Lig club are in the market for a central midfielder, and they’ve identified his Stoke City teammate Oghenekaro Etebo, reports Turkish newspaper Fotomac.

It’s claimed Ndiaye’s agent William D’Avilla, who’s very influential in the Turkish transfer market, has informed Galatasaray they won’t be looking to loan out Ndiaye next season as the Championship side would prefer a permanent sale.

Ndiaye isn’t keen to play for the English club after Stoke City failed to get promotion back to the Premier League.

However, Fotomac claim D’Avilla has also told Galatasaray he can help them land Etebo, who’s expected, at least by those writing this Turkish claim, to leave Stoke City during this transfer window.

Galatasaray officials will reportedly speak to the club’s manager Fatih Terim about Etebo and he will have the final say on whether they will pursue him.

The 23 year old joined Stoke City from Feirense for €7m last summer and made 37 appearances for Potters in his debut season in England. The Nigeria international is under contact with Stoke City until June 2022.
