Rangers could be getting closer to the signing of Feyenoord striker Danilo.

The first reports about this attempt from Michael Beale’s side came from De Telegraaf, with the outlet revaling there’s an offer on the table for the Brazilian to move to Ibrox.

It’s claimed that Rangers placed on Sunday a bid worth €7m. That is said to be their ‘last attempt’ to make their signing.

The offer is expected to be discussed by Feyenoord still on Monday, and the player himself is said to be keen on the transfer to Ibrox.

The report said that Danilo could make €45k a week if joining Rangers, and that’s one of the factors that attract him to Glasgow.

What is interesting is that De Telegraaf then published a story saying Feyenoord got interested in Calvin Stengs from the Brazilian’s place.

In that article, they claimed the club have him in mind for once Danilo ‘gets the green light in the 24 hours’ to complete the move to Ibrox.

Now it turns out that in a recent article from 1908.nl, it’s claimed that Stengs is indeed on his way to Feyenoord, as there’s an agreement for the move.

That could very well mean the Dutch side are now prepared for Danilo’s departure to Rangers.
