Fanatik claim Fenerbahce have rejected the chance to sign West Ham United forward Andy Carroll.

The English striker has been offered to the Turkish club but Fanatik report Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli doesn’t want to bring in the Englishman.

The Turkish newspaper report the former Liverpool striker is not in the plans of new West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini and therefore he’s been offered to various clubs, including Fenerbahce.

According to Fanatik, Comolli has tuned the chance to sign Carroll because of his poor injury record, even though the Yellow Canaries could have got him on a free transfer.

Carroll recently picked up another ankle injury and will not be expected to return to action before October.

The 29 year old still has a year left on his current West Ham contract and it seems the Hammers want him off their wage bill.
