Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Fábio Silva has no intention to continue at Anderlecht after having joined them on a season-long loan deal last summer.
On Thursday, Walfoot reported the striker has decided to force an exit in the winter market and has even cleared his locker at the Belgian club.
Voetbalkrant relay Walford’s claim and add that a solution has been found that would suit all parties. Anderlecht will cut short the 20-year-old’s loan stay and will receive compensation from Wolves.
It’s explained the Portugal U21 international’s next destination will be PSV Eindhoven. They have ‘reached an agreement’ with both the player and Julen Lopetegui’s side for a loan deal until the end of this season.
PSV wanting Silva is also reported by Eindhovens Dagblad, relayed by Soccernews. They are in the process of selling Noni Madueke to Chelsea and if all goes well, they will soon be able to welcome the Wolves player, who who ‘wants’ to leave Anderlecht for the Eredivisie side.
ED claim the details of the deal for Silva isn’t clear as it’s possible for PSV to take him on a loan deal until the end of this season or for 18 months.
What’s clear, though, is that Wolves have ruled out selling the attacker.
