Yesterday, we covered a report from Gianluca di Marzio about Tottenham Hotspur’s Emerson Royal, who was said to be on the verge of joining AC Milan.
The same sentiment was also conveyed some days ago by journalist Manuele Baiocchini, who suggested that the move to the Rossoneri was ‘very close’.
It now seems as if some more progress has to be made before Milan seal the deal.
Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo has provided a fresh update about the saga. He claims that Milan have accelerated their move for the Brazilian after Florenzi’s injury and they will make new contact with Tottenham in the ‘next few hours’.
A fresh bid has been sent to Spurs in ‘recent hours’ and it is valued at €14m. So far, Tottenham haven’t given approval to the move as they want €15m plus bonuses worth €3m.
Talks, the report states, are continuing and the move is expected to go through soon. Milan continue to haggle over every penny on this deal and that’s why it’s dragged on so long.
