Fenerbahçe are reportedly looking to add at least two forwards to their squad ahead of next season and Arsenal’s Perez is one of the leading candidates, along with Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony.
The Turkish website claims Fenerbahçe are waiting on Perez’s decision and there’s a feeling the Yellow Canaries are closing in on the Arsenal player. It’s been reported that Perez’s first choice is to return to Spain, but he’s yet to receive any serious offers to head back to his home country.
Fenerbahçe are therefore looking to step in and secure a loan deal for the Spaniard. This week officials from the Turkish club travelled to London to hold talks over Perez, and they will be confident getting a deal done, believe the Turkish press.
Perez struggled last season following his move to Arsenal from Deportivo La Coruna. The forward played just 22 games for the Premier League side, scoring 8 goals.
