With Udinese expected to lose Nahuel Molina in the next transfer window, the Italian side seem ready to go after a replacement for the right-back.
And according to a report from Serie B News, the substitute could come from Watford, as the club are eyeing the signing of Kiko Femenía.
The story claims that following relegation to the Championship, the player is now expected to ‘change air’ in the summer.
While Udinese are said to be ‘vigilant’ about him, Serie B News point out this interest is ‘facilitated’ by Watford, who apparently could make his departure easier.
Udinese, however, should be aware there could be some competition for the signing of Femenía. Especially because his entourage are said to be evaluating the player’s return to Spain, where he could return to his old club Alavés.
The 31-year-old still has a contract with Watford until 2024, although it sounds obvious that the Pozzo family could work out a deal between their clubs.
