Voetbal 24 features today an update on the chase that Eredivisie clubs are involved in for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Ilias Chair.

Club Brugge and Anderlecht are said to be the sides who are working on the signing, and it turns out that apparently, only one of them would have the conditions to take the player away from Loftus Road.

Voetbal 24 first takes claims from the English press to say that QPR would demand at least €15m to let Chair leave the club this summer.

They then state that Anderlecht ‘have no chance’ in this case, claiming that their director Peter Verbeke doesn’t have the budget for such a big signing.

Club Brugge, on the other hand, are said to have the conditions for the transfer, although it’s still no clear whether they’re willing to spend that much or not.

Chair has 47 appearances for QPR this season, and is protected with a contract running until 2025, so it’s no surprise the London side are in a good position to make big demands.
