‘Bombazo’ shout out Marca on Tuesday as they bring huge news on the future of Manchester City star Aymeric Laporte.

The Spanish newspaper state the central defender will be able to represent Spain at Euro 2020 this summer following a direct request from national team manager Luis Enrique.

Clearly feeling the Manchester City man can add to the options already available for Spain, Enrique asked those tasked with such things to seek approval for a Laporte change.

Marca report the process of that is happening, and state it as near fact that Laporte will switch from France, with Didier Deschamps never seeming to be a huge fan of the player, and represent Enrique’s side at the delayed Euro 2020.

Laporte’s will has obviously been key in this and it’s explained the defender has been keen on making the switch. Marca state the Manchester City player is expected to be named in Enrique’s squad for the tournament, as final approval will be requested from FIFA.

According to the report, it’s expected Laporte will meet the requirements to change allegiance.
