Everton and Arsenal have both shown an interest in AC Milan youngster Davide Bartesaghi, but the Italian side are moving to keep him out of their grasp.
That’s according to Calciomercato.it, who report that Milan are speeding ahead with renewal talks because of the interest from Everton, Arsenal and Barcelona.
They explain that Milan have managed to reach an agreement with the full-back and his agent on a deal that will run until 2030.
Bartesaghi is highly rated at the club despite a lack of minutes and has been earning plenty of international recognition too, with Bojan Krkic recently praising him in Spain and recommending him as a signing for Barcelona.
They’re one of several potential suitors, with Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen known to be admirers and CM.it also saying that he is ‘appreciated’ by Everton.
Milan don’t intend to lose him now, though, and have pushed ahead to ensure that everything is now done for his contract to be renewed until June 2030. His agent, Nick Arcuri, has already reached an agreement and all that is needed is a signature.
The hope is that he can establish himself at Milan as they restart their project, but if he doesn’t, there’s plenty of options for him around Europe.
