Juventus’ pursuit for Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães may not be the strongest rumour in the Italian media, but it continues to pop up here and there.
The last time we had seen something about it was in October, when newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport said the Old Lady still dream of taking the Brazilian from the Gunners.
It turns out that Calcio Mercato now features a story claiming ‘nothing can be excluded’ in the January window, and that’s where the Arsenal star gets a mention.
The Old Lady’s new board is set to start working next Thursday, and in a list of players who may be targeted by the Old Lady in the coming weeks, there’s Gabriel Magalhães.
Calcio Mercato makes an obvious statement about the player, though, pointing out he’s in the middle of a potential ‘historic’ campaign for a Premier League title, and that’s the main reason why he could choose not to leave Arsenal at this stage.
With the report not bringing any bigger details on that chase for now, it sounds like Juventus’ chase is still in an early phase.
