Sevilla have made an offer to sign Boubakary Soumare from Leicester City, according to reports from Spain.
El Desmarque writes that as the player is not willing to play in the Championship next season, he is looking for a ‘way out’ from the Foxes this summer.
It’s said Sevilla are ‘taking advantage of the situation’, and already placed their bid for the signing.
They’re not the only in the race, though, as Turkish side Galatasaray made their move in the ‘last few hours’, and found the competition from the Spanish club.
There are no details on how much money each of those clubs put on the table, although the story does make it sound like it’s Sevilla who have the lead for the signing.
With El Desmarque highlighting that the La Liga side are moving ‘strongly’, it makes us curious to know more about their offer.
Soumare has a contract with Leicester City running until 2026, and is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €20m.
It’s already been said by the Italian media that €20m is precisely how much the Foxes demand for the move.
