With Lucas Moura set to leave Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season, Brazilian clubs are becoming interested in that situation.
Earlier this week, we saw reports claiming Grêmio had even made an approach for the signing, but then ruled that out, considering how much he’d cost.
Moura’s requests sound big, because as reported by Goal Brasil, the total operation to land him this summer should reach €10m, even though he’s leaving Tottenham for free. That also stopped São Paulo’s pursuit for him.
Now there’s another club involved in the situation, Palmeiras. According to journalist Diego Firmino on Twitter, the Verdão made an approach for the signing.
We’re still to see bigger outlets talking about that chase, but considering how rich Palmeiras are, it’s a signing which would make sense for them.
However, that’s only an approach for now, with nothing advanced. It’s also pointed out that Moura would rather stay in Europe once his contract with Tottenham expires.
Recent reports from Turkey have been claiming Fenerbahce are also working to get him signed, so that’s an advantage the Istanbul side should have.
