On Thursday, we covered claims made by Fanatik and En Son Haber that Brighton & Hove Albion are in the picture to sign Fenerbahçe’s Ferdi Kadıoğlu in the summer.
The 21-year-old started as an attacking midfielder before moving to the fullback and wing-back positions during the 2021/22 season. He’s mainly operated on both sides of the back four this season, managing three assists from 31 matches in all competitions.
His versatility and performances have caught the attention of Brighton. They are not alone as Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are also chasing the player.
Takvim state that after the Seagulls and BVB, the Bundesliga winners are aspiring to sign the Dutch-born Turkey international.
Bayern have had their scouts observe Kadıoğlu in action for the Istanbul club and also prepare a report, just like what Brighton have done for him.
Even though three clubs aspire to secure the fullback’s services, there isn’t any concrete indications in the report that one or more clubs will make an approach for him in the next window.
Kadıoğlu has a deal until 2026 and is currently valued at €12m, which is €8m less than the fee Fenerbahçe wish to collect from his sale.
