Real Madrid have joined Paris Saint-Germain and Al-Nassr in the chase for Aston Villa star Jhon Durán.

That’s according to Foot Mercato, who have been covering the striker over the past week or so.

They state Real Madrid are ‘hot’ for the Aston Villa player, who is on the agenda of PSG and Al-Nassr.

Luis Enrique’s side considered signing the Colombia international with a €75m bid, but it wasn’t entertained by the Villans. PSG then face competition from Al-Nassr, and these two clubs now have to be wary about Real Madrid.

It’s claimed the Champions League winners have entered the race for the 21-year-old and can even take action to sign him.

Foot Mercato don’t make it clear whether Los Blancos want Durán in the winter market or for the summer. Either way, Real Madrid aren’t worried about the competition and are willing to make room in their squad by letting Endrick go out on loan.

The South American, for his part, favours a move to the Middle East club amid interest from PSG and Real Madrid.

Aston Villa are ‘inflexible in negotiations’ and ‘continue to raise the stakes’ as they want to retain Durán. The report states the Villans have been valuing the frontman at €100m.

As Aston Villa fans will be well aware, the rumours around Durán have got so silly some of them have become slightly embarrassing recently.

His camp appear determined to move their asset on as soon as possible and for it now to be suggested he’d snub Real Madrid for Al-Nassr is stretching the boundaries of believability to the extreme, and that’s just believing Los Blancos are as keen as someone is telling the media they are.
