Eintracht Frankfurt are holding ‘concrete talks’ with Leeds United defender Rasmus Kristensen ahead of a potential move this summer.
That’s according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who states that a verbal agreement between the Leeds man and the German side is close and personal terms will not be a ‘big issue’.
According to his information the 27-year-old Leeds man is very keen to play in the Bundesliga with Eintracht, further pushing them to move for the player.
At the moment there is no agreement between the clubs yet, with Leeds demand for €15m at this stage seemingly considered high. There have been talks and some ideas floated about a loan, after Kristensen spent last season on loan at Roma.
Various reports on that matter and whether he could end up back at the Italian side have made it clear he doesn’t want to stay with Leeds or play in the Championship, so it’s easy to imagine he’s pushing for the move to Frankfurt if they’ve shown an interest.
Leeds demands for €15m seem high and ambitious, though, even if they did pay €13m to sign him from RB Salzburg in July 2022.
It’s hard to see the German side paying that, particularly if they’re floating the idea of a loan, but with personal terms close to being agreed, perhaps they’ll start to make official offers soon and matters will move from there.
