AC Milan’s efforts to sign Chelsea forward Armando Broja are on the ‘downhill’, with a loan deal until the end of the season on the cards.
That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who say the ‘ingredients seem to be there’ for a deal to get done next month.
They explain that Milan have Broja in their crosshairs once again, with the player a ‘long-time target’ for the club.
They could now get him as Chelsea consider him a ‘winter redundancy’ having given him only two Premier League appearances this season.
That has opened up the possibility of a January exit and a loan deal could be on the cards, although ‘nothing is simple’, particularly in January deals.
However, the two clubs have an excellent relationship and there is room for them to make a deal happen.
That could see them recreate the deal they did for Fikayo Tomori two years ago, in which the defender went to Milan on loan with a right of redemption included.
So far, they have not worked on the deal but the Rossoneri want to reinforce their forward line and there is an ‘axis’ with Chelsea for them to get Broja.
