Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei was linked with a January move to Feyenoord two days ago.
The feeling was that the Dutch club will make a move to land the Italian midfielder, and there was significant interest from multiple other clubs as well.
TuttoSport today have looked at Juventus’ interest in the 21-year-old, stating that Casadei has pretty much accepted his fate at Chelsea and wants to leave as soon as he can.
The lack of game time has convinced him that there is no future for him at Stamford Bridge. Juventus could take advantage of the situation in the winter transfer window.
They have already ‘resumed thread of talks’ for the midfielder and they also like Blues left-back Ben Chilwell.
Juve do not want to miss out on the chance to sign Casadei and they have tried to land him in the past. They don’t want a repeat of the previous scenario and there is belief that a bargain move can be signed off by Chelsea.
How the situation involving both the ex-Inter Milan youngster and Chilwell advances remains to be seen, but Nicolo Fagioli’s potential exit would help Juve in signing the two players.
