Feyenoord have ‘become concrete’ in their efforts for West Ham United’s Luis Guilherme and sent him an improved personal offer this week.

That’s according to 1908.nl, who report that the Dutch side are pushing ahead for the winger and could soon present an offer to West Ham.

Feyenoord tried to sign Guilherme at the end of the January transfer widow and there was confidence at the club they could get a deal done.

However, an injury to Crysencio Summerville ended that opportunity, with West Ham deciding to keep the young Brazilian at the club until the end of the season instead.

Feyenoord did not bring an end to their interest and have instead continued to eye up a move in the summer, when they intend to strengthen in several areas.

1908 now report that they have ‘become concrete’ in terms of trying to get Guilherme from West Ham, sending him an ‘improved personal offer’ this week. That was presumably done through his agent.

If these conditions match with the player and his entourage, their plans is to ‘formally report’ to West Ham to discuss a loan deal. The Dutch side want to include a purchase option. This would have to be lower than his current estimated market value of €19m, though.
