According to a claim in the Turkish media an agreement has been reached between West Bromwich Albion and Trabzonspor over the transfer of Okay Yokuşlu.
Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu has just claimed the two clubs have finally agreed on a transfer fee for the central midfielder. Recent reports in Turkey said Trabzonspor already had an agreement with the player for personal terms, but because the Baggies were reluctant to sell there was a difference in transfer fee valuation.
It’s claimed the Trabzon club will pay €1.6m for the Turkey international just two years after the player arrived at the Hawthorns. Yokuşlu has reportedly been keen on a return to Trabzonspor and it’s likely this is why the English side are allowing him to leave.
Hull City have also been linked with the midfielder, but it looks like the Championship club are missing out.
Yokuşlu made 18 appearances for West Brom last season and is contracted to the Baggies until June 2025.
