As AC Milan’s hunt for Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior goes on, the Italian media today shares an update on the situation.
Calciomercato features a story claiming the Rossoneri have a ‘mission in England’ to get the signing done, as they’re ‘continuing negotiations’ for the transfer.
Arsenal are said not to be open to a loan deal, which was Milan’s initial desire, but the Serie A giants now try other ways to get a deal done.
It’s said Milan have ‘good feelings’ about the possibility of eventually getting the player, especially because Kiwior has shown ‘desire to move’ from London in January.
The interesting claims here is that Arsenal aren’t overly convinced that he should leave in January, as it’s said the Gunners are evaluating the possibility of giving him more playing time and only leave the decision about a potential departure in June or beyond.
While Mikel Arteta’s side think about that, the current valuation for Kiwior’s transfer is said to be of €25m.
Now, it’s up to Milan to make an offer that makes Arsenal consider getting something done in the coming weeks.
