One of the most constant transfer rumours in the Turkish media in recent years has been Everton forward Oumar Niasse heading back to the Super Lig.

This summer the Everton player has yet to be linked with a move to Turkey, but Fanatik today report the Senegalese striker is a target for Trabzonspor.

This week Karadeniz Firtinasi confirmed the arrival of Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth on a two year loan deal, and Fanatik said they’ve now switched their attention to the Everton man. It’s claimed they are close to completing a deal for the Senegalese forward.

After spending the second half of last season on loan at Cardiff City, Niasse has returned to Goodison Park, but it’s unlikely he will have a future under Marco Silva.

The former Akhisarspor player has just a year left on his current Everton deal and Fanatik say the Premier League side won’t make things difficult for him if he wants to leave.

Trabzonspor are said to be keen on the player as they are in the market for a striker before the Turkish transfer window closes.
