For the past few days, reports coming out of Italy have stated Aston Villa are trying to get ahead of AC Milan in the race for Universidad de Chile’s Darío Osorio.
The Serie A winners have made an offer of €5m and the Villans are planning to make a proposal higher than this to sign the winger. This was reported by TuttoMercatoWeb on Monday.

Over at Calciomercato, they insist Milan are still in the picture for the player. They state Osorio’s employer are demanding more than €5m as they are ‘aware of the interest’ from Aston Villa.
Universidad de Chile also know Emery’s side can offer a better deal than Milan to sign the wideman in January.
To sum it up, the Chilean side know Aston Villa are interested and are capable of paying a higher fee than Milan. They want €10m to sanction his sale and there could be news on this case in the next few hours.
