Manchester United have confirmed they are in talks with David de Gea to extend his deal even though it expired on June 30th.
At the same time, there have been claims of the Red Devils’ interest in Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow and Inter Milan star André Onana.
Algemeen Dagblad focuses on the former as they state Manchester United are interested in the 25-year-old and have made it known to both him and the Eredivisie side. As things stand, there isn’t any concrete offer on the table.
Despite this, the Dutch club and the goalkeeper are open to the transfer in the summer window.
Having sold Orkun Kökçü to Benfica for €25m, AD say Feyenoord general manager Dennis te Kloese wants to get the best deal possible for Bijlow, should there be a transfer.
The Netherlands international ‘would like’ to join a top club like Manchester United. This is echoed by De Telegraaf, who add Erik ten Hag’s side have shifted their focus to Bijlow after Inter requested €60m for Onana.
Other reports have stated the Red Devils would be looking to sign both goalkeepers.
It’s explained that Feyenoord haven’t set a price tag for Bijlow and are waiting to see what Manchester United will offer for him, should they be seriously keen to secure his services.
