Among the many transfer businesses that Manchester United will have to handle in the next summer, there’s the situation of Jadon Sancho.
The winger is currently having a loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, where he has one goal and two assists in nine appearances this season, and it’s completely unclear whether he’ll stay there.
German outlet Bild today features a story on the scenario, claiming the Bundesliga side have a ‘secret plan’ for the Manchester United player.
It’s said that Dortmund’s intention is not to make a big investment in Sancho this summer. Their idea is either to extend his loan or try a deal where they can include another player, with Donyell Malen being used as an example.
What plays on the German club’s side is that Sancho doesn’t want to return to Manchester United. It’s said he blames Erik ten Hag for his ‘career slump’ and wants to stay away from Old Trafford.
That leaves the English club in a delicate position, so they’ll have to wait and see what comes to their table.
Sancho was once valued by Transfermarkt at €130m, and now sees those numbers standing at €25m.
