Futbol Arena claim Turkish Super Lig club Ankaragucu had an agreement to sign Ivo Pinto from Norwich City, but the deal has fallen through

It’s claimed the Turkish club couldn’t complete the transfer due to financial issues and the Norwich City player has now returned to England.

The Turkish website say Pinto arrived in Turkey to sign for Ankaragucu but the Ankara based club didn’t manage to get a lift on their transfer ban due to their financial situation.

Ankaragucu are currently experiencing a financial crisis and the Turkish club has been struggling to pay wages, leading to some players terminating their contracts.

Pinto has also been linked with a move to fellow Turkish side Rizespor in the past few weeks and it’s still expected he will leave Norwich City in this window to get first team football elsewhere.

The footballer has made only three appearances for Norwich City in the Championship this season and his contract will expire at the end of the season.
