Paris Saint Germain ‘adore’ Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes as they plan big changes to the squad in the summer.

That’s according to L’Equipe, who say the Parisians could be set to move for the 26-year-old in the summer transfer window.

The newspaper explains that big changes are on the way for the Ligue 1 champions, particularly now that Kylian Mbappe appears to have decided to depart.

That exit will spark major changes at the club, and they are eyeing a big addition in central midfielder in particular.

They’re looking at Joshua Kimmich as his contract at Bayern Munich expires in 2025 and he and Thomas Tuchel do not get on, so there’s no chance of his contract being renewed for now.

Guimaraes is another name they are looking at and L’Equipe say that the Parisians ‘adore’ the Brazilian.

There’s no mention of what they would pay for the midfielder or whether he’d be interested in the move, just that the interest is there ahead of the summer.

Newcastle, of course, could be forced into a sale, with it made clear that they may need to sell one or several of their star names to help balance the books and comply with Financial Fair Play.

Perhaps it is that which is making PSG eye up a deal. Either way, Newcastle appear to need to prepare themselves for a potential bid from Paris, with big changes on the way there and money available to spend once they are rid of Mbappé’s astronomical wages.
