Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen remains on Bayern Munich’s list for the summer, but only if they sell Kim min-Jae.

That’s according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who reports that Bayern may join the ever-growing list of suitors for Huijsen in the coming months.

The Bournemouth defender appears to have every top team in Europe interested in his signature after an impressive year with the Cherries following a move from Juventus last summer.

Real Madrid are believed to be particularly keen, as are several sides in the Premier League, and Plettenberg now puts Bayern into the mix as well. There is a caveat to that, though.

He explains that while Huijsen is on Bayern’s list and a player they consider ‘very exciting’, he’s not yet a concrete transfer target.

That’s due to his high price tag, with his current release clause set at €50m. He would only become a serious option if there are departures in their defence, such as Kim.

The interesting part is that Kim has found himself facing criticism publically from Bayern this week and that has led to reports he could be moved on. Bayern are at least believed to be open to a sale.

That would then open the door for them to move for the Bournemouth man, who they’ve been monitoring and is ‘planning a move in the summer’ according to Plettenberg.
