Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to sign Fluminense’s André Trindade before the window closes on Friday.
That’s according to Globo Esporte, who say Wolves have offered €22m plus €3m bonuses for the midfielder. The Brazilian club have agreed to let him make a switch to Molineux.
The two clubs are close to finalising the deal, which indicates there are only a few details left before the total agreement. The negotiation has been carried out by his agent, Carlos Leite.
It’s claimed the Brazil international will travel to England soon, to carry out the transfer formalities, before completing a move to Wolves.
ESPN in Brazil also report Fluminense have agreed to sell André to Gary O’Neil’s side for €22m plus €3m bonuses. The two clubs are sorting out the final details to get this deal over the line.
Fluminense want a percentage of a future sale, and this could be the last detail that needs to be ironed out between the two clubs.
TNT Sports Brazil journalist Aline Nastari states Fluminense ‘accept the offer’ of around €25m made by Wolves for André. She adds the South American club also want 10% of a future sale.
The negotiations should be completed in the next few hours. Nastari says the player is scheduled to travel to England on Thursday for Wolves medical.
