Sevilla defender Marcos Acuña will travel to England ‘in the next few days’ to finalise a move to Aston Villa, with a deal ‘verbally agreed’.

That’s according to TyC Sports, who insist that the Argentine will be joining Aston Villa this summer and a deal is in the final stages.

The Argentine outlet report state that Acuña ‘will reinforce’ Unai Emery’s squad, leaving Sevilla to play for the Villans in the Premier League.

According to their information he will ‘make the leap’ to England at some point soon, with only ‘some details’ remaining on the transfer between the two clubs.

They claim that Emery and director of football Monchi travelled to Seville in the last few days to personally negotiate a deal for the Argentine defender and get the move over the line.

They back this up with a tweet on their account, where they state that Aston Villa have ‘verbally agreed’ a deal for the left-back and add that he will travel to England in the next few days to finalise his move.

Now, this hasn’t been reported in Spain as yet but TyC are confident everything is done and Acuña will be the latest arrival at Villa Park this summer.
