Ipswich Town signed Liam Delap from Manchester City in the summer window and he’s starred for them this season.
The Blues have scored 12 goals in the league and the striker has been directly involved in seven [six goals and one assist] of them.
At the weekend, Ipswich Town sealed a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur, and it was their first league win of the season. The 21-year-old got his name on the scoresheet after assisting Sammie Szmodics’ opener against Spurs.
Delap’s performances have seen Juventus and other clubs take notice. That’s according to Tutto Juve, who claim this is their own information.
It’s claimed the Serie A side’s scouts have been following the frontman live in action for Kieran McKenna’s side in recent weeks.
Juve have scored 21 goals from 12 league games and seven from four Champions League matches this season. For now, they are only following Delap, who is also being monitored by other unnamed Premier League sides.
Journalist Mirko Di Natale covered this report and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to add that other European clubs are showing interest in Delap.
Ipswich Town are 17th in the table and retaining Delap would be vital to avoid relegation. Juve or any other interested parties may have to wait until next summer at least.
