It’s been a while since Chelsea and other Premier League clubs first started being linked to Palmeiras wonderkid Estevão Wiliam, who impressed at the Brazilian club since his early days.
The chase from European sides started with his evolution at the academy and now sees him evolving as a professional, where he just took an important step.
Estevão this week scored his first goal for the first team. It wasn’t just any goal, as it was in the Copa Libertadores, and Jovem Pan has a couple of things to say about that.
Those clubs are said to be ‘gathering information’ about his evolution before making an actual move to sign him, although the French side already got rejected by him in 2022.
Earlier this month, we had already covered reports from Spain which said Chelsea had been sending emissaries to watch Estevão’s evolution at Palmeiras.
Now with him scoring in the most important competition in South America at the age of 16, perhaps it’s time to confirm that he’s worth a big investment.
