Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kanté apparently doesn’t know where he’ll be playing next season yet.
Foot Mercato comes up with a story today claiming that despite the news about a potential move to Al-Ittihad, the player ‘still hasn’t decided his future’.
The Saudi side reportedly offered Kanté a hefty four-year contract, but ‘nothing is definitely set in stone’ yet.
According to Foot Mercato, the Chelsea player is currently in and around Paris, where he is thinking about his future.
The midfielder’s representative is said to be meeting ‘several’ clubs in Saudi Arabia, with Al Hilal and Nassr also getting labelled as ‘possible destinations’.
Following the historic Premier League title with Leicester City, Kanté joined Chelsea on a €35.8m deal in 2016. In his seven years with the blues, he made 269 appearances for the club.
This season, however, the Frenchman struggled with injuries and barely played.
He only entered the pitch nine times, with 685 minutes played, and that should be one of the reasons for his departure from Stamford Bridge as a free agent this summer. He just needs to decide where to head.
