Chelsea star is only Premier League player to make European Team of the Week

 

Chelsea further cemented thier credentials to be Premier League champions at the weekend, with a 3-0 victory over Everton. Ronald Koeman will have hoped and expected for better, especially given the game was held at Goodison Park, but Chelsea eased away with the three points.

Pedro opened the scoring on the 66th minute, a goal which was followed by further marks from Gary Cahill and Willian. Antonio Conte will have been especially pleased with Pedro’s performance, as the Spaniard continues to show what an important player he’s become at Chelsea.

It’s not just Conte and Chelsea fans who will recognise Pedro’s performance, Gazzetta dello Sport have named him in their European Team of the Week.

The former Barcelona player is the only pick from the Premier League, which is unusual for Gazzetta.
