Galatasaray have made an official move for Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony report Fotomac.

Galatasaray are looking for a striker to replace departing the Lukas Podolski and Manchester City owned forward Bony is one of the players they are looking at, along with Mario Balotelli.

Fotomac report Cenk Ergun’s initial talks with Manchester City have not been straightforward because Manchester City are demanding €10m for their player.

Bony is currently on loan at Stoke City but has failed to deliver for Mark Hughes’ team, scoring just two Premier League goals this season. The Galatasaray board were hoping his form will make things easier for them, but Fotomac say Manchester City are not going to sell him on cheap.

The Premier League side signed Bony for €32m and want to recoup as much as they can on the Ivory Coast international.

Galatasaray are now looking at the possibility of loaning Bony, and with the player not in Pep Guardiola’s plans the Turkish club are hoping they can push a transfer through.

Fotomac say further meetings will soon take place between the clubs.
