Chelsea are ‘more than ready’ to formulate a first offer for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and ‘entrust the keys’ of their rebuild to him.

That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who say the Blues are ready to offer Christian Pulisic and Kepa Arrizabalaga as part of the deal so they can arrive at a valuation of €150/160m.

The newspaper explains that while Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has said on several occasions he doesn’t want to sell off the title winning squad of this season, Europe is paying no attention to him.

Osimhen is the one that everyone wants after a superb campaign in Italy and Europe, with his attributes making him an ‘unstoppable centre-forward’.

Because of that there are those who ‘think of madness’ to get him, in particular, paying €150m and giving De Laurentiis a price that he absolutely could not say no to.

The one club that is seems to be ‘more than ready’ to do that are Chelsea, who are ready to formulate their first offer to try and sign the Nigerian.

They would happily make Osimhen their new centre-forward and would offer Pulisic and Kepa plus money to arrive at a valuation of €150/160m and tempt Napoli into a sale.

The big issue lies with the player, who knows Chelsea will not be playing in Europe’s top competition next season and has made continuing in the Champions League something of a priority.

That, therefore, would hint that Chelsea have little chance of getting him, but as always money will talk, and the Blues seemingly have enough to convince anyone.
