Chelsea continue to get strong mentions in the race for Brazilian wonderkid Endrick.
The latest story on the player comes from journalist Jorge Nicola. On YouTube, he published a video which brings a response to the Spanish claims which said the player would have a preference for Real Madrid.
The reporter claims there’s no such thing. He says Endrick is expected to be very professional when making his choice, waiting to listen for the best project, and the Santiago Bernabeu side aren’t even among the most interested clubs.
Paris Saint Germain are said to be leading the race, as they recently even went to Brazil to get more details on a possible deal. Then Chelsea come up, as it’s said the Blues prepare a bid, as Bayern Munich are said to be keen as well.
“The main one, the one who has the most will, at least for now, are PSG. Last week, Luis Campos, who is the big boss of PSG, was in São Paulo to meet with Abel Ferreira, to hear about Endrick, he was with Endrick’s agents, he was with the attacker’s family, because he wants to present a proposal that seduces,” says Nicola.
“Chelsea are another one that more than monitors, is another one that prepares the proposal for the next few days. Bayern Munich is another one that has the striker on their radar. Anyway, the 16-year-old boy is in the crosshairs of the world’s top football clubs.”
Endrick made his debut for Palmeiras’ first team in early October. Since then, he has five appearances for the Verdão, and already scored three goals.
That only confirms all the hype he’d been getting since the youth ranks, and it’s no surprise to see European clubs, like Chelsea, trying to get to him first.
