According to a claim in the Italian media, Chelsea are prepared to make an offer for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali.

The youngster has already been dubbed the new Andrea Pirlo and he’s been linked with a move to the Premier club in recent weeks.

Calciomercato have reported on the latest developments with regards to Tonali’s future with Serie A clubs and Chelsea all showing a keen interest.

It’s reported by Calciomercato that Brescia president Massimo Cellino rejected offers in the region of €12m during the last transfer window but Chelsea are prepared to make a bid of €20m for the player.

Maurizio Sarri is said to be an admirer of the 18 year old, and the offer would be please him… according to the claims.

Speculation is now likely to continue over Tonali’s future as clubs get ready to make a move for the youngster. Chelsea should expect to face competition from Serie A clubs. who have also been monitoring the situation.
