Armando Broja’s agent has admitted they have spoken to clubs from Turkey regarding a move from Chelsea in January, but his intention is to remain at Stamford Bridge.

Sports Digitale provide exclusive comments from Imad El Hammici today regarding a potential transfer for Broja amid increasing links to Turkey over the last week or so.

Broja has been a part of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad this season after battling back from a long-term injury but has not yet proven to be the answer to their goalscoring problems.

That’s led to reports he could be on his way in the coming weeks, with Besiktas named as an interested party in him.

It was first claimed on the 11th that his agent was in talks about a move, which he has now confirmed, telling Sports Digitale “there were teams from Turkey that wanted Broja and met with us, but our priority is to stay at Chelsea.”

It seems, then, that Broja and the Blues could be set for something of a disagreement as they seem keen to move him on but he doesn’t want it.

Perhaps either party can be persuaded to change their mind in the coming weeks and his agent is certainly working just in case.
