West Ham United still have their chance to sign Zeno Debast this summer, as his entourage are insisting he’s not signed anything with anyone yet.

That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who says that his entourage are insisting the race for the Anderlecht defender is still an open one at this point.

Debast has been heavily linked with a move away from the Belgian club this summer, with his contract entering the final year and a growing sense it is time for him to move on.

West Ham have been brought into the mix this month, with several reports crediting them with an interest as they plan for a busy summer under a new manager, likely to be Julen Lopetegui.

They’re believed to be battling several sides in Europe for the defender’s signature, with Napoli, Sporting Club de Portugal and others all named as suitors for the 20-year-old.

Indeed, some reports had indicated that he had already signed an agreement with one of those clubs, potentially ending West Ham’s hopes before they had even had a chance to develop.

It seems that may not be the case, though, as his entourage are adamant that nothing has been agreed or signed anywhere at this point.

“Sources from Zeno Debast’s entourage confirm that the Anderlecht defender has not decided yet and there is still no deal in place, contrary to what is being reported in certain media,” Tavolieri reported on X.
