On Thursday, Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg stated Bayern Munich have made an official offer to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The Bundesliga winners would have to be wary of Real Madrid possibly hijacking their deal for the 28-year-old.
Friday’s Marca states the Chelsea player has been ‘proposed’ to the La Liga side. He’s one of the stoppers currently under consideration at the Bernabéu after Thibaut Courtois suffered a serious knee injury.
It’s claimed Los Blancos’ plan is to keep costs down for a goalkeeper and their idea is to carry out a loan operation.
Marca say Carlo Ancelotti likes the Chelsea goalkeeper and also Sevilla’s Bono, who is now ahead of Kepa and other targets.
Over at AS, they state Real Madrid have identified the Chelsea player as an alternative to the Moroccan. Should Carlo Ancelotti’s side focus on Kepa, the report states they will look to sign him on a loan deal.
AS add Chelsea would not put ‘too many obstacles’ in the way of the Spaniard as they have already signed his compatriot, Robert Sánchez, from Brighton & Hove Albion this summer.
Real Madrid’s decision is now awaited.
