On Thursday, Corriere dello Sport reported Chelsea will present a new offer to sign Dušan Vlahović after Juventus rejected their initial proposal of €25m plus Romelu Lukaku.

Later that day, Italian journalist Marco Piccari stated Tottenham Hotspur are showing interest in the 23-year-old Serbian. In addition to this, Lukaku could also be an option for them.

That’s at least what Il Bianconero are reporting and add that ‘Tottenham enter’ the race for the Chelsea player.

Ange Postecoglou is likely to be without Harry Kane, who is in the process of making a switch to Bayern Munich.

The England international’s exit would leave a void at the north London club, which Spurs are trying to fill. This is where the Belgium international could be an option.

It’s stated Chelsea have taken a step back in carrying out the swap deal involving Lukaku and the Old Lady frontman. The report adds Juve would have to face a potential battle with Spurs for the Blues player.

Il Bianconero state Tottenham are the ‘new and heavy competitor’ that Juventus have to compete with to sign the 30-year-old.

Kane’s sale would bring in over €100m and the report insists Spurs could invest part of that ‘without many problems’ to sign the Chelsea striker.

Dragging Tottenham into the mix may be a tactic from Lukaku’s entourage to put pressure on Chelsea to meet Juve’s demand.
