Chelsea winger Robert Kenedy has finally landed in Brazil ahead of his move to Flamengo.

As reported by Globo Esporte, the player arrived in São Paulo this morning and already took pictures wearing the shirt of his new club.

Kenedy is set to be presented at a press conference at 11:30 (15:30PM BST), meet his new teammates and then head to Rio de Janeiro.

Flamengo’s squad is currently in São Paulo as they face Santos on Saturday. But since the winger isn’t fit for the match, he won’t even stay with the team for the game.

Kenedy recently tested positive for Covid-19, and since Flamengo will have 13 vacant days, he should have enough time to get back in shape and be available for the match against Palmeiras on the 11th of September.

Flamengo spent around €500k to have the winger on a one-year loan, and will have the option to buy him at the end of the season for a fee of €10m. His contract with Chelsea runs until 2023.
