Chelsea have ‘just approached’ Paris Saint Germain to ‘officially open negotiations’ over a deal for Neymar.
That’s according to Le 10 Sport, who say that the Blues are ‘keen on the Brazilian’ and have now opened talks with their French counterparts over a potential deal.
They explain that it is going to be a busy summer at PSG, with Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi already gone and several other potential departures, including that of Christophe Galtier.
According to Le10’s information, they ‘have just approached’ PSG to officially open negotiations about a possible transfer.
They want to work on that with the French giants and are not put off by the Brazilian having something of a mixed campaign and failing to bounce back after an injury at the World Cup.
The forward is very much on their ‘radar’ and there could be a deal there to be done as PSG are ‘listening carefully’ to what is proposed by those in charge at Stamford Bridge.
They’re not opposed to a sale and seeing the Brazilian go this summer if they can ensure they can get ‘a good price’ for him.
Whether Chelsea can offer a price that they agree on remains to be seen but their spending in the last two windows, and seeming unwillingness to stop, should make a deal possible.
