Chelsea man to seek January transfer after agent change – Excellent relations with Blues can help exit

Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei is one of the many Blues players who are stuck in a bit of a rut at Stamford Bridge.

The Italian couldn’t seal a summer move away from Chelsea and will now have to stay with the Blues until January.

A key development regarding the midfielder is that he’s now moved away from his previous entourage and is represented by Epic Sports.

CalcioMercato state that this is in view of a January exit, as attempts to seal a move away from Chelsea never took off in the summer. ‘Big’ negotiations did take place through his previous entourage and their failure to get a move is described as the major reason for the agent change.

Epic Sports, it’s reported, have ‘excellent relations’ with Chelsea and that could come in handy for Casadei. Moves for Moises Caicedo, Filip Jorgensen and Nicolas Jackson involved Epic Sports.

Francesco Facchinetti is a lead name at Epic and he is praised by Calciomercato, who hint at the fact that the agent could play a key role in Casadei’s departure.

TMW all cover the situation, saying that Epic Sports are ‘already thinking about the January market’, suggesting that the ex-Inter youngster is set for a winter exit.
