Chelsea midfielder Roméo Lavia has insisted he should be fine for Belgium this week, despite going off injured in the draw with Arsenal.
RTL Info cover comments from the midfielder today in which he moved to assure all was well and alleviate any injury concerns.
Lavia has returned to the international set up for this break, with Belgium boss Domenico Tedesco bringing him back into the picture after a frustrating year of injuries at Chelsea.
That positivity soon turned to fear last weekend, though, when the midfielder was taken off injured in the 68th minute of the 1-1 draw with Arsenal.
That sparked concerns he could be set for another spell on the sidelines after a year that’s seen him struggling with an ankle injury and then two hamstring injuries.
However, it seems all is well, and the Chelsea man is keen to remove any worries on that front.
“I received a little blow, at the moment, we are testing to see if it is okay, but it should be fine, I think,” he said when questioned by Emiliano Bonfigli before admitting that ‘he does not yet know’ whether he will be able to play against Italy on Thursday.
