Chelsea and Manchester City are both keen on Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi, reports Spanish newspaper Marca on Thursday. The former Stoke City midfielder took some time to settle in at Sevilla, and was initially considered as a potential flop, but he’s since gone on to fully impose himself and subsequently become wanted by other clubs.
The story has come to a head after claims in Italy that Juventus are interested and want to pay €15m.
That’s pretty cheeky from Juve, but it’s a tactic which has worked for them in the past so they’re likely to try and underpay wherever possible.
Marca believe Juventus are trying to get ahead of the competition, including that of Chelsea and Manchester City, by getting in there first.
The two Premier League clubs could scupper that by waltzing in and completing a deal at the player’s €30m buyout clause.
