As the future of Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku remains unclear, it seems he may find the same solution that several players have been taking this summer.
According to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, the striker may now end up in Saudi Arabia.
The first reason for that is that Chelsea and Inter Milan are struggling to find a deal for his stay with the Nerazzurri.
It’s said the Blues rejected the Serie A side’s offer for a new loan, and the mission is now getting ‘complicated if not impossible’, despite his willingness for that transfer.
Chelsea’s intention is to sell Lukaku on a permanent deal, and that’s why other scenarios may show up, such as the Saudi League.
TuttoMercatoWeb says Al Ahli are looking for a ‘great centre-forward’ and Lukaku is ‘among the very first on the list’.
Even though the player recently ‘closed every door’ to the club, it’s said the Saudi side now returned with a ‘new pharaonic official offer’ that appears to have changed his mind.
The report claims Lukaku was even open for a stay at Chelsea, but with Mauricio Pochettino unlikely to keep him, he may have to accept another fate.
